Test Manager

Overview

As Systems Test Manager, you will lead end-to-end SATCOM testing for government and MILSAT projects, shaping test policies and plans. You’ll work across R&D to acceptance phases, ensuring TCQ through rigorous V&V activities. You’ll mentor teams, drive improvements, and partner with customers to deliver secure, high-quality software and systems. This role offers hybrid work, travel for projects, and a strong focus on risk reduction and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SATCOM testing across ground segments, stations, modems and user terminals
• Develop and maintain test and verification/validation (V&V) strategies and plans
• Champion customer requirements throughout projects to ensure on-time, on-budget, quality delivery
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during bids and project phases in fast-paced environments
• Train engineers on rigorous testing practices to meet project requirements
• Manage testing activities on customer sites during acceptance testing
• Keep engineering practices up-to-date with new testing technologies and methods

Key requirements

• Domain experience in SATCOM testing (ground segments, ground stations, modems or user terminals)
• Experience with IV&V and end-to-end testing
• Proven ability to define and implement test strategies and plans
• Ability to train and mentor engineers and testers
• Customer-facing delivery experience and strong collaboration skills
