Senior Electrical Engineer, Dartford

Overview

In this Senior Electrical Engineer role you will lead electrical design across LV power, lighting, small power, containment and life safety for building services projects. You’ll drive load calculations and Revit electrical models while coordinating with mechanical and public health teams. You operate with chartered-level judgment, able to carry schemes from concept through delivery and manage clients and contractors with minimal supervision. The role centers on commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors within a UK consultancy setting, offering end-to-end delivery from on-site location in Dartford.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across LV power, lighting, containment and life safety systems
• Perform load calculations and develop Revit electrical models
• Coordinate with mechanical and public health teams to integrate electrical scope
• Manage schemes from concept to delivery and oversee client and contractor interfaces
• Develop and mentor junior engineers within the team
• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success

Key requirements

• Chartered or near-chartered professional status
• Strong UK consultancy experience and project-running judgement
• Ability to carry a scheme from concept through delivery
• Proven client and contractor management experience
