Overview

In this role you will lead growth in Solera’s commercial fleet segment, owning strategy and revenue generation across specified territories. You will build and steer a high-performing sales organization, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive adoption of Fleet offerings. The position sits at an inflection point for Solera’s Fleet strategy and offers impact across enterprise and strategic customers. You will partner with UK/International sales leaders to expand the customer base and leverage technology to engage and grow clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a growth-focused sales organization
  • Directly manage sales staff and coordinate with matrix-based resources
  • Manage and report pipeline forecast and conversions
  • Provide leadership and create an environment for high performance
  • Define strategy to leverage technology for customer engagement
  • Launch new Fleet offerings for rapid adoption within existing customers
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, HR, and Marketing
  • Outline and manage sales budgets and set monthly/annual goals
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing to maximize lead generation
  • Review competitive activity to inform acquisition strategies
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
  • Assess talent and implement development actions with HR
  • Recruit and hire sales staff
  • Initiate business cases for resource investment and growth plans
  • Promote promotion and referral of Solera propositions through cross-team collaboration
  • Travel up to ±25%

Key requirements

  • 10+ years in business development and sales leadership
  • Proven track record in strategy development and growth in solution selling
  • Experience in commercial fleet, transportation, logistics, or private fleet markets
  • Results-oriented with a history of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work with sales, technical teams and marketing to solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic/analytical thinking
  • Willingness to travel ±25%
