Senior Flow Room Operations & Incident Control Manager

In this role, you lead the Flow Room within a 24/7 automated fulfilment centre to keep stock moving, systems performing, and customers satisfied. You will manage inventory performance across millions of units and own incident control, ensuring reliable operations and timely escalation. Responsibilities

• Lead the Flow Room operation in a 24/7 automated fulfilment centre to meet stock and performance targets
• Own system performance, availability and throughput using data and continuous improvement to maximise reliability
• End-to-end responsibility for site inventory, ensuring stock accuracy, compliance and availability across 7+ million units
• Lead and develop Shift Managers, Inventory leaders and Testers to foster accountability and collaboration
• Manage the KNAPP partnership to ensure service delivery, maintenance, system optimisation and agreed SLAs/KPIs
• Act as senior incident control lead, driving quick resolution and clear communication with minimal disruption

Key requirements

• Experience managing Flow Room or Control Room operations in automated fulfilment or distribution
• Knowledge of KNAPP and KiSoft, warehouse automation systems
• Experience with WCS and WMS
• Track record of leading large-scale inventory operations with high stock accuracy and compliance
• Experience managing software releases, integration testing and system changes
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing third-party suppliers
• Proven leadership of teams in fast-paced 24/7 environments
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder influence and engagement
• Resilient, calm under pressure during incidents and conflicting priorities
• Strong analytical skills to turn data into action
