In this role you will manage a mixed-use property portfolio, delivering high standards of service to clients and occupiers. You will lead leasing activity, onboarding of new properties, and asset enhancement initiatives, while ensuring compliance and efficient operation. You will work closely with clients, tenants, contractors, and colleagues to support property performance and value. Responsibilities
- Manage a mixed property portfolio, delivering high service standards to clients and occupiers
- Oversee leasing and lettings activity, including rent reviews and lease renewals
- Support acquisition and onboarding of new properties into management portfolios
- Assist with identification and disposal of surplus assets where appropriate
- Manage collection of rents and other income, including arrears monitoring
- Coordinate with Facilities Management to ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements
- Coordinate repair/maintenance/improvement works with tenants and contractors
- Maintain accurate property and financial records using property management systems (e.g., TRAMPS)
- Undertake regular property inspections and site visits
- Identify and support asset management initiatives to enhance performance and value
- Assist in identifying strategic development opportunities across client portfolios
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely management information for clients
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of property legislation and best practice
- Undertake site-based tasks including meter readings, fire alarm testing, contractor meetings, and basic inspections
Key requirements
- Experience in residential property management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn specialist software
- Proactive problem-solving and initiative with ability to seek support when needed
