B1 Licensed Engineer – Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds/Bradford (Roaming)

Overview

In this roaming role you will perform line maintenance on Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets, troubleshoot defects, and support AOG recovery. You’ll work with minimal supervision, mentoring apprentices and mechanics while upholding safety and compliance. The position contributes to Ryanair’s expanding fleet and aims to sustain high reliability across bases in the UK. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape maintenance standards within a fast-paced airline environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment and adherence to procedures
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices

Key requirements

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential)
• EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 License holder (Essential)
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills (Essential)
• Good IT literacy with AMOS experience (Desirable)
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK and Full UK Driving Licence
• UK CAA licensure accepted with 5 years maintenance experience and ability to complete EASA HF/Legislation modules
