Senior Full Stack Developer (Python) – Networks, Vice President

Overview

In this role you will help deliver automated network and security solutions for a global network team, shaping the next generation of network automation. You’ll contribute to a full-stack development effort, aligning software with network infrastructure requirements. You’ll work closely with Network Engineers and cross-functional teams within an agile SDLC to create modular, high-quality code. Responsibilities

• Full stack development of solutions to automate Network Technologies
• Contribute to and understand all layers of a full stack application
• Database integration including querying, joins, and optimization
• Develop and test modular, high quality code
• Write automated tests and contribute to all aspects of the SDLC process
• Deliver against requirements and acceptance criteria from a Network Infrastructure team
• Interface with Network Engineers to understand requirements for Network devices
• Collaborate with the development team on a daily basis
• Work within a Scrum framework using agile mindset following SDLC processes
• Ability to work with a variety of infrastructure technologies and third-party products
• Must be able to work a 4×4 hybrid model (4 days in office, 4 weeks per year remote) consistent with State Street Policies

Key requirements

• Python proficiency
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django
• Knowledge of full stack technologies (message brokers, version control, authentication/authorization)
• Experience in RESTful API communication between systems
• Solid experience with JSON and XML data formats
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• Agile and Scrum experience
• Networking automation experience a plus
• Bachelor degree
