DevOps Lead

Overview

As a DevOps Lead, you will drive DevOps practices and reliability for our AWS-based environment. You will collaborate with a remote team while spending one day on-site in Birmingham to align on strategy and operations. You’ll tackle complex problems, improve automation, and enhance system availability, security, and performance. This role offers a chance to shape processes and tooling in a high-impact, hybrid-work setting with a senior, pragmatic approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption and continuous improvement of DevOps practices across the team
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of AWS-based systems
• Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including remote members to align on goals
• Solve complex operational problems and optimize performance and resilience

Key requirements

• 5+ years of senior DevOps/SRE experience
