Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion
• Manage client and design team interactions
• Oversee technical delivery ensuring quality, compliance, and performance
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
• Drive innovation and best practices across mechanical/electrical disciplines
• Contribute to recruitment, retention, and development of engineering talent
• Represent Waterman at industry events and build professional relationships

Key requirements

• Significant experience in mechanical building services design across regulated sectors
• Proven ability to influence engineering outcomes and lead design teams
• Strong proficiency with MagiCAD, Relux, Amtech/ EOM, AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement
• Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a closely related discipline
• Chartered status or working towards it
