As Lead Electronics Engineer in Elekta’s Beam Line domain, you will provide technical leadership for high-voltage and power electronics in medical linear accelerators. You will drive design, verification and lifecycle activities to deliver safe, reliable and innovative radiotherapy solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex power, RF, and thermal challenges that impact patient outcomes. This is a mission-driven role with a strong impact on global cancer care and device reliability.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of high-voltage, RF and pulsed-power subsystems for medical linear accelerators
- Drive design, integration, verification and lifecycle activities ensuring safety, reliability, and fitness for purpose
- Investigate and resolve complex power electronics, RF, thermal, reliability, grounding, shielding and EMC issues
- Define technical requirements, review designs, and provide engineering direction
- Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, service teams and external suppliers
- Support design reviews, risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement while mentoring the team
Key requirements
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with power electronics, high-voltage, RF, pulsed-power or other high-energy electronics
- Understanding of EMC, grounding, shielding, insulation, thermal management and reliability
- Experience in regulated, high-reliability or safety-critical environments
