Quantity Surveyor – Facades & Drylining – Erith

Overview

In this role you drive commercial success for façade, dry lining and fit-out projects in Erith. You own package profitability, manage budgets and VOs, and ensure alignment with programme targets. You’ll lead subcontractor oversight, contract administration, and risk mitigation while engaging clients and stakeholders to support commercial decisions. The position offers growth through exposure to high-value projects within a collaborative, client-facing team.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of projects and package profitability
• Prepare and submit Applications for Payment; assess variations and maintain financial reporting
• Oversee subcontractor packages to ensure contract and quality adherence
• Administer contracts, manage variations/claims and mitigate commercial risks
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings to support commercial decision-making

Key requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in surveying or commercial construction
• Knowledge of dry lining, SFS, or façade systems preferred
• Independent package management and confident decision-making
• Strong communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
• Good contractual awareness and commercial acumen
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
• Ambition to develop professionally (HNC/Degree progression supported)
