Overview
In this role you join Deloitte’s Financial Investors Indirect Tax team to support high-profile private equity and real estate transactions with VAT expertise. You will lead small engagement teams, build and deepen client relationships, and help pursue new work while developing analysts. You’ll shape market opportunities and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative culture across a fast-growing practice. Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day small engagement teams on transaction and advisory work
- Deepen client relationships and help win new work
- Mentor and develop Analysts with hands-on guidance
- Contribute to market development and lead ideas locally, nationally and internationally
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to shape culture and goals
- Promote an inclusive culture and manage diverse teams
- Support senior leadership in identifying and addressing potential issues in client engagements
- Build your own professional network within client organizations and Deloitte
Key requirements
- Relevant experience in practice, industry or with HMRC
- Excellent client-facing, relationship-building and business development skills with commercial awareness
- ATT or equivalent qualification/experience
- Proactive, able to identify opportunities, take early responsibility and lead project teams
