Marine Hull – Account Executive

Overview

In this role, you will support the strategic growth of the Marine Hull team, focusing on client engagement and tailored insurance solutions for Shipowners. You work closely with the Hull team to identify opportunities, prepare for meetings, and help shape portfolio-oriented programs for the London market. You’ll develop expertise in marine hull and shipowner coverage while collaborating with underwriters and brokers. This position offers a path to broader leadership in marine insurance and cross-functional impact across client development and market strategy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with marine hull clients globally
• Assist senior team members in client meetings and industry events
• Gather client information to understand risk profiles and insurance needs
• Support growth initiatives and identify new business opportunities
• Contribute to proposal development and RFP responses
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
• Prepare policy documentation for Marine Hull clients
• Collaborate with underwriters and brokers on programme design
• Ensure Marine Hull activities align with portfolio goals
• Support shipowner engagement and contract review under supervision
