Overview

In this role you will lead site health and safety on a high-profile pharmaceutical fit-out, driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance. You will partner with project leadership, subcontractors and clients to maintain a safe, controlled environment and support delivery to the highest standards. You’ll conduct inspections, reviews and incident investigations, shaping risk management and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Lead all site-based health & safety activities on a major pharmaceutical fit-out
• Conduct inspections, audits, and toolbox talks, driving continuous improvement
• Review RAMS, permits, and H&S documentation from subcontractors
• Advise project teams on compliance, risk mitigation and best practice
• Support incident investigations and produce clear reports and follow-up actions
• Build strong relationships with site teams to encourage a positive safety culture
• Contribute to H&S planning, reporting and ongoing project development

Key requirements

• NEBOSH Certificate (preferred)
• Strong, stable background working for reputable main contractors or specialist contractors
• Experience in fit-out, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or controlled environments beneficial
• Confident communicator with a dynamic, hands-on approach
• Able to influence, engage and lead safety culture on busy sites
