Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will drive architecture design and technology decisions for scalable, AI-enabled products. You’ll mentor client teams and co-create solutions with cross-functional stakeholders, delivering engineering excellence in a high-performance environment. You’ll shape technical strategy, influence digital transformations, and grow as a technology leader within QuantumBlack AI by McKinsey. This role combines hands-on delivery with coaching and enterprise-impact across industries.

• Lead architecture design and technology decisions
• Co-create scalable products with client teams

Key requirements

• 7–8+ years of software development experience
• Full-stack web development expertise with front-end and back-end proficiency
• Strong collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Tailwind
• Experience with Python, Node.js, Java/Spring, C#/.NET
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, vector databases, ETL
• Experience with LLM frameworks, prompt orchestration, agent frameworks, MCPs, evaluation frameworks
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) including Docker and CI/CD
• Strong focus on automated testing, logging, monitoring, and reliability
• Experience coaching on design patterns, TDD, code reviews, and OWASP Top 10
• Experience leading in Agile teams and coaching Agile mindsets
• Excellent time management and English communication skills
