Overview

In this Field Officer role, you support TV Licensing by engaging customers in the Brighton area and guiding them on licensing obligations. You work independently, visiting homes and managing a flexible schedule, with full training and a responsible, client-facing focus. You will explain options, set up payment plans where needed, and document outcomes using mobile tech. The position offers a local, autonomous field role with a strong emphasis on customer service and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential addresses within the BN postcode area
• Engage customers professionally to explain TV Licensing requirements and options
• Set up payment plans where appropriate
• Record visit outcomes accurately using mobile devices
• Work independently in the field and make informed decisions
• Occasionally attend court as part of enforcement processes
• Start and finish daily work from home and travel locally using a company or personal vehicle

Key requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Residence within BN postcode area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
