Overview

Support forecasting, planning, performance reporting and financial analysis across assigned functions, coordinating cycles and delivering timely, accurate insights. You will build dashboards and analytical tools to enable informed decision-making and partner with cross-functional teams to drive commercial performance. The role blends data analytics, systems stewardship, and stakeholder communication in a dynamic retail environment. You will influence planning, reporting quality, and cost/control initiatives, contributing to monthly business reviews and strategy. This is a hands-on role with exposure to global finance processes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver insightful reporting and performance tracking with timely financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Support forecasting, planning and financial modelling, owning forecasting cycles such as rolling forecasts and AOP
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive cost control and commercial performance via cross-functional collaboration
  • Build and maintain financial models and business cases aligned to operational and strategic plans
  • Own and enhance data, systems and reporting tools (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI); improve models, dashboards, and processes for efficiency and insight
  • Contribute to governance, insights and continuous improvement; prepare monthly business reviews, ad hoc analysis, and support data/reporting strategy

Key requirements

  • Finance qualifications and experience; ideally part or recently qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Experience in multisite retail or large corporate environments preferred
  • Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills for non-finance stakeholders
