Digital Project Controls Engineer – Bristol & Cardiff

Overview

In this role you help clients deploy a Digital Controls solution that integrates P3M methods with our cloud platform, enabling optimized project controls and performance. You will work with cross-functional teams to assess client environments, implement the Digital Controls platform, and deliver data-driven insights. You’ll run workshops, produce actionable reports, and continuously develop our Digital Controls services. Responsibilities

• Contribute to client environment assessments and deliver Digital Controls solutions aligned with client goals
• Support development, implementation and optimisation of project controls and performance strategies using the digital approach
• Support implementation of the Digital Controls platform to enable an optimized project controls operating model
• Assist the Project Controls Leader to deploy and tailor P3M methodologies, processes, tools and systems
• Continuously develop understanding and application of the Digital Controls platform and services
• Produce reports to support findings and recommendations across client engagements
• Deliver workshops in virtual and face-to-face environments with client representatives
• Collaborate with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams at client sites and remotely

Key requirements

• Gather, process and analyse data to support construction project management and decision-making
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to transform unstructured data
• Knowledge of data cleansing, ETL, database design, and visualization tools
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and present findings clearly
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards and reports to present insights
• Ensure data accuracy and governance through quality checks
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven solutions
• Provide training and support to end-users on new reports and dashboards
• Support workshops, define processes, manage product/process roll-outs and conduct UAT
• SOX controls may be part of the role; familiarity with SQL/Power BI/Tableau/Qlik is advantageous
