Overview
In this role you lead the Haematology marketing function for the UK & Ireland, shaping commercialization strategies and aligning with cross-functional partners to maximize product value. You drive market preparation for future launches, oversee tactics across channels, and develop scientific thought leadership with Medical Affairs. You will build and mentor a high-performing team while collaborating with sales, market access, and external partners to prioritize patient care and business growth. This position offers impact across strategy, execution, and stakeholder engagement within a mission-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop the overall Haematology strategy and tactical plans for UK & Ireland commercialization
- Oversee marketing plans in collaboration with global teams and partners
- Prepare the commercial market for future product approvals in Haematology
- Align strategy with Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs
- Gather and translate market insights for strategy, tactics, and forecasts
- Partner with Medical Affairs on integrated scientific and thought leadership
- Build external partnerships to influence commercial strategy for partnered assets
- Localize strategy across programs/channels (events, digital, content)
- Guide development of promotional materials and promotional activities
- Manage congress presence, communications, and competitive intelligence
- Gain market insights from HCPs, KOLs, patients; identify hurdles and opportunities
- Collaborate with field force to address resource gaps and opportunities
- Represent BeOne at key meetings and conferences
- Oversee Haematology marketing budget and ROI
- Provide leadership and foster BeOne’s values in team culture
- Drive patient-centric decision making and maintain ethical conduct across operations
- Ensure compliance with BeOne standards and local regulations
Key requirements
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry marketing or related experience
- UK marketplace launch experience
- Specific knowledge/experience in hematology; lymphomas knowledge desirable
- Proven track record in fast-growing, entrepreneurial environments
- Strong influencing skills across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication; ability to synthesize data for executives
- Significant project management experience
- Proven track record in customer/HCP/KOL interactions
- Excellent presentation skills in-person and virtual
- Scientific mindset with ability to operate in changing environments
- Willingness to travel ~25%
