Overview
In this role you will provide strategic, commercially focused employment law advice to clients as part of the EIP team in Glasgow. You will lead Employment Tribunal litigation, manage case strategy, and develop client relationships while contributing to training and business development. Responsibilities
- Act as trusted adviser delivering strategic employment law guidance on complex workplace issues
- Lead Employment Tribunal litigation including case strategy, pleadings, and client risk management
- Prepare and review evidential material, statements, and align with litigation strategy
- Conduct legal research to support advice, decisions, and knowledge development
- Represent clients in Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, including advocacy at hearings
- Draft bespoke employment documentation (contracts, handbooks, policies) aligned with client risk
- Support non-contentious matters such as TUPE warranties and indemnities on business transfers
- Deliver training/workshops to clients and non-clients
- Participate in business development initiatives for the team and Firm
Key requirements
- 2 to 5 years PQE
