Senior Actuarial Analyst

Overview

In this role you will contribute to building Everest’s global reinsurance pricing tool and related actuarial applications. You will work with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and test pricing features, while gathering user feedback from actuaries and underwriters. You will support day‑to‑day pricing operations and enable scalable solutions across the business. This is an opportunity to influence pricing architecture and tooling in a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing Everest’s global reinsurance pricing tool
• Propose UI designs, actuarial methodologies, and platform architecture aligned with pricing approaches
• Gather and respond to feedback from pricing tool users (actuaries and underwriters)
• Program pricing tool features
• Ensure quality and reliability through testing and quality control
• Collaborate with IT and other internal teams on tool build
• Support business‑as‑usual pricing tool operation
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in Solutions applications
• Prepare user documentation, guidance materials, and training content
• Support reinsurance pricing during renewals using the tools
• Represent international user needs in wider discussions

Key requirements

• Experience in developing reinsurance pricing tools (programming, architecture, or UI design)
• Strong interest in software development; experience with Python, VBA/Excel, SQL, or web development
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with commercially available platforms for (re)insurance pricing is an advantage
• Experience and interest in leveraging AI for high‑quality applications
• Strong data manipulation skills (SQL, Python with Pandas/Polars, or R)
• Familiarity with modern software development practices (Git, unit testing, AI)
• University degree in related technical field; actuarial qualification or progress is preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
