Overview

Enthusiastic Principal Data Scientist who leads highly technical, high-impact AI projects for top clients in regulated sectors. You work across Generative AI, machine learning, and advanced data science methods to deliver measurable business value. Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical authority on ML, Generative AI, and advanced data science methods to deliver innovative solutions
• Lead development of shared resources, frameworks, and best practices across teams
• Contribute to scoping and bid processes for large-scale, high-stakes projects
• Own a portfolio of work within a sector, applying expert knowledge to client value
• Lead and mentor project teams to ensure delivery of high-value, complex initiatives
• Act as a thought leader by publishing papers and presenting at conferences to amplify the AI vision

Key requirements

• Demonstrable technical ability with evidence such as a PhD or scientific publications
• Experience in financial services with distinctive applications that drove commercial impact
• Broad knowledge of ML techniques, including Generative AI and agentic AI with LLMs
• Advanced Python coding skills and experience building scalable codebases
• Experience mentoring juniors and prior direct management
• Strong strategic problem-solving and ability to communicate solutions to non-technical audiences
