Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad portfolio of property litigation matters
  • Handle disputes through court proceedings, mediation, and ADR
  • Run own caseload with emphasis on efficiency and client service
  • Supervise junior team members when required
  • Meet billing targets and contribute to team KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal processes

Key requirements

  • 2 years PQE (or equivalent) in litigation
  • Strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process from inception to trial
  • Experience with mediation and ADR techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex cases
  • High levels of client care and commercial awareness
  • Supervisory or mentoring experience (desirable)
  • Experience in property-related disputes (preferred but not essential)
  • Familiarity with legal expenses insurance and policy interpretation (advantageous)
