Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guide a software engineering team
• Recruit and mentor to expand team capability and talent
• Assess requirements, estimate effort, and perform risk analysis for senior management
• Influence architecture, design reviews, and technology strategy
• Manage multiple projects to deliver features on schedule
• Drive continuous improvement in software practices and product quality
• Collaborate with other engineering teams, product management, QA, and support

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Electronics and Communications Engineering
• 10+ years of software development experience in Networking or related domains
• 5+ years in technical leadership or people management
• Familiarity with Linux development; proficiency in C and Python
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and open-source software development
• Experience with cloud-native application development
• Experience with distributed systems and Python-based microservices
