Overview
In this FP&A role you will provide financial insight, planning and analysis to support strategic decisions in a manufacturing environment. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Production and Commercial teams to drive budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will build robust financial models, support liquidity planning and pursue continuous improvement. The position offers exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration in a growth-focused manufacturing business. This is a strategic, impact-driven role with a clear path to shaping long-term financial strategy.

Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly reforecasting cycles
- Produce rolling forecasts across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Develop and maintain long-term financial models and 3–5 year plans
- Analyse business performance against budgets, forecasts and prior-year results
- Partner with operational teams to support production forecasting and business performance
- Monitor and improve working capital (inventory, receivables, payables)
- Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and support liquidity planning
- Identify opportunities to improve cash generation and financial efficiency
- Support tax forecasting and R&D tax calculations with external advisors
- Support investment appraisals, ROI analysis and business case evaluations
- Drive improvements in financial planning processes, reporting and data integrity
- Support ERP and BI reporting enhancements
Key requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Manufacturing or engineering sector experience advantageous
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Experience presenting financial information to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills
