Overview

As Manager in the Family Office & Private Client Tax Compliance team, you will manage a diverse private client portfolio, delivering high-quality personal tax compliance with a focus on trusts. You’ll build long-term client relationships and identify advisory opportunities while collaborating with the wider tax practice on complex projects. Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied portfolio of private clients and ensure high-quality personal tax compliance
  • Lead trust compliance work including preparation/review of trust accounts and trust tax returns
  • Prepare and review inheritance tax reporting
  • Act as trusted adviser to clients and develop long-term relationships
  • Identify opportunities to provide advisory support and value to clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the tax practice on complex private client projects
  • Contribute to projects involving capital gains tax, residence/remittance issues, and succession planning
  • Support career development and knowledge sharing within the team

Key requirements

  • Experience in Private Client or Personal Tax environment
  • Strong experience managing personal tax compliance and complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates
  • Direct experience of trust compliance (trust tax returns, accounts, administration)
  • ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent experience
  • Client relationship management
  • Proactive and commercially minded
  • Strong technical communication
  • Trust compliance (trust tax returns, accounts, administration)
  • Personal tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals
  • Capital gains tax knowledge
