Senior Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will build and enhance features across the full stack, harnessing AI-driven capabilities to automate and optimize decision-making. You’ll collaborate with product, data, and global teams in a fast-paced, autonomy-rich environment that values technical excellence. You’ll work primarily with Python on the backend and JavaScript on the frontend, with opportunities to apply modern AI tools. This position offers a hybrid setup in Central Bristol and a chance to shape platform solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop features across frontend and backend, improving existing functionality
• Explore and implement AI-driven capabilities like automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making tools
• Collaborate with product, data, and global teams to deliver platform solutions
• Experiment and innovate with new technologies and approaches
• Support semi outward-facing engagement to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Key requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Full Stack Software Engineering experience
• Backend: Python (Django & FastAPI)
• Frontend: JavaScript (Vue a plus)
• Database: SQL
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
• DevOps setup familiarity
• Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Semi outward-facing collaboration with wider group
