Sr. Financial Analyst, Amazon Music Finance

Overview

In this role, you will own Music Business Development by crafting strategies with the business and deriving insights to drive growth. You’ll support deal evaluations, forecasting, and performance management, while building scalable finance processes. You’ll partner with the Music Content Acquisition team on royalty negotiations and strategic planning projects. You’ll influence decisions across stakeholders through strong financial modeling and clear communication in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Value propositions with business teams
• Develop business cases for major financial decisions
• Prepare financial metrics, analysis, and reporting
• Manage global financial and business forecast models
• Develop, maintain and enhance finance controllership via models, reports, and processes
• Prioritize competing priorities and guide during unexpected events
• Root cause opportunities for improvement using data and actioning findings

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
• Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results
• Financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• Experience with KPI-driven analyses and financial performance insights

• Excellent communication abilities
• Strong influencing and stakeholder-facing capabilities
• Detail-oriented with a track record of delivering results
