Senior BDM Law Enforcement, Global Government Business Development

Overview

In this role you drive AWS’s global engagement with public safety, security and justice agencies. You shape strategy, build senior-level partnerships, and orchestrate cross-border initiatives to modernise how law enforcement, homeland security, and courts adopt cloud, AI, data analytics and digital forensics. You will translate operational needs into scalable cloud adoption programs and represent AWS in ministerial and international forums. This position centers on accelerating transformation across regions while maintaining trusted government relationships.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the global AWS engagement strategy with public safety, security, and justice agencies to drive cloud adoption
• Build executive relationships with senior leaders across policing, homeland security, border agencies, intelligence services, and justice authorities
• Develop and maintain trusted ties with international law enforcement and cross-border cooperation bodies
• Translate operational requirements into cloud adoption strategies across digital forensics, OSINT, biometrics, cryptocurrency investigations, and court modernization
• Navigate data sovereignty and cross-border cooperation requirements, positioning sovereign cloud solutions where needed
• Create repeatable playbooks for regional field teams to engage customers effectively
• Collaborate with system integrators and ISVs to build co-selling frameworks for justice and security offerings
• Represent AWS in ministerial engagements and industry forums, publishing thought leadership

Key requirements

• Experience in security, law enforcement, or intelligence roles
• Experience influencing senior leaders and stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence without direct authority
• Deep understanding of operational, technological, and policy challenges across public safety and justice (terrorism, organised crime, cybercrime, cross-border threats, modernization)
• Proven track record of leading large teams and driving transformational change in high-stakes environments
