Senior Landscape Architect or Landscape Planner – Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter

Overview

As a Senior Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner at WSP in the UK, you will lead landscape design and LVIA work on urban realm and mixed-use developments, collaborating across disciplines in a BIM Level 2 environment. You’ll manage projects, mentor junior team members, and engage clients through workshops and stakeholder events. You’ll contribute to bid preparation and help grow client relationships in public and private sectors. Responsibilities

• Lead Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
• Serve as landscape design lead on multi-disciplinary projects through all LI/RIBA stages in BIM Level 2 environments
• Support bid preparation for small to complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Manage and delegate work to junior team members
• Client-facing contributions including design advice, workshops, and stakeholder events
• Participate in internal multi-disciplinary groups to promote innovation and excellence
• Coordinate landscape design efforts in both landscape architect and landscape planner capacities
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Landscape Architecture
• Postgraduate Diploma / Masters in Landscape Architecture
• Established track record in authoring LVIA and in delivering landscape and urban design projects from site analysis to planning/construction documentation
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite
