Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality expert reports for use in formal dispute resolution forums
• Provide clear, logical, and robust expert evidence in tribunals, court proceedings, and mediations
• Analyse technical documentation and project records to identify relevant mechanical engineering issues
• Engage with instructing solicitors, barristers, and clients with clarity and professionalism

Key requirements

• Chartered Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification
• 15+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, including senior project / hands on roles
• Previous experience acting as an expert witness is desirable, but senior engineers with demonstrable forensic analysis and report writing skills will also be considered
