In this Analyst role, you will support origination and execution of M&A and capital markets work for UK FIG clients, collaborating with the EMEA FIG team to grow JPMorgan’s franchise. You’ll build financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations as part of cross-functional project teams. You’ll manage transactions from pitch to close under senior guidance, developing practical solutions to real business challenges. Responsibilities

• Cover the UK FIG market across banks, asset/wealth management, insurance and related sectors
• Perform large, complex valuation and analytical exercises
• Prepare presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, memoranda for M&A and capital markets
• Support transaction execution: due diligence, document prep, negotiation, liaison with clients and advisers
• Stay updated on market and regulatory developments and understand target client dynamics

Key requirements

• 1-2 years of investment banking experience (FIG preferred)
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
• Deep understanding of investment banking products
• Experience dealing with clients and transactional advisers
• Willingness to learn quickly
• Team player with solid communication and project management skills
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; quick to learn new software
