Senior Digital Design Engineer (#OAEG3)

Overview

In this role you will design and develop digital circuitry within Cirrus Logic’s high-performance mixed-signal R&D team in Edinburgh. You will influence IP quality and collaborate across engineers to deliver complex SoCs for global consumer markets. You’ll work on architectures from concept through production, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital circuit architectures from concept to production on advanced process nodes, including block-level testbenches
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver complex mixed-signal products and IPs
• Contribute to technical reviews and ensure IP quality using checklists
• Influence team growth through supervision of junior engineers

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering with extensive background in digital CMOS circuit design
• RTL implementation in Verilog/SystemVerilog for complex digital circuits and subsystems
• Understanding of digital system-level design, bus protocols, and chip-level clock/reset architectures
• Verification of block-level digital designs
• Synthesis and timing analysis of digital circuits
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated with analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a dynamic, urgent environment
