Experienced Civil Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead civil engineering design delivery for building projects, coordinating design teams and ensuring technical standards. You will manage resources, QA, and client relations to drive successful outcomes. You’ll contribute to innovative technical standards and deliver packages for drainage, levels, cut-and-fill, and highways. Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery on civil engineering projects including resourcing, technical QA and client management
• Coordinate design teams and participate in design team meetings and workshops
• Contribute to technical standards and innovation in civil engineering
• Perform project QA activities
• Develop civil design packages: surface and foul water drainage (SAB compliance and connection agreements), levels and cut-and-fill, highways and externals design

Key requirements

• Chartered ICE or Associate ICE membership, or working towards Chartered status
• Significant experience in civil engineering design for building developments
• Strong understanding of SAB legislation and track record managing SAB processes
• Self-motivated team player with good people skills
• Strong communication, analytical, technical design and drawing skills
• Experience using AutoCAD, InfoDrainage, Civil3D, Collaborative model platforms, NBS Chorus
