Overview

In this role you will help build and maintain a secure, scalable backend and data platform that supports dementia care research. You will collaborate with researchers, clinicians, data scientists and designers to deliver a cloud-native healthcare platform with real-world impact. You’ll contribute to deployment, QA and continuous delivery while helping grow the Minder platform within a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities

• Develop secure, scalable backend services
• Build and support cloud-native infrastructure
• Design Lakehouse-based data ingestion and analytics solutions
• Contribute to deployment, quality assurance and continuous delivery processes
• Support growth, development and deployment of the Minder platform
• Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, data scientists and designers

Key requirements

• Experience developing software using Java and/or TypeScript
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience with Git, Linux, Docker and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Interest in healthcare technology and data platforms
