Senior Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Overview

In this hands-on senior role, you will own air conditioning installations for premium residential and commercial projects across London and the South East. You will lead on-site work, support junior engineers, and uphold high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship. The position sits within a growing HVAC specialist focused on delivering high-quality projects and developing your career towards senior leadership. This is a hands-on role with a clear progression path and meaningful project impact.

Responsibilities

• Install split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems
• Lead on-site installations and mentor junior engineers
• Carry out pipework, brazing, pressure testing and commissioning support
• Read and work from technical drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with Project Managers and site teams
• Identify installation issues and resolve them efficiently
• Maintain high quality, safety and workmanship standards
• Support handover and snagging at project completion

Key requirements

• Strong experience in air conditioning installation
• F-Gas qualified
• Confident with VRF/VRV, splits and multi-splits
• Experience with Daikin or Mitsubishi products
• Strong pipework and brazing skills
• Able to run jobs and supervise less experienced engineers
• Good customer-facing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration desirable
