Regional Operations Environment (REO) Manager GB&I

Overview

As REO Manager for GB&I, you drive the deployment of the sustainability strategy across the manufacturing network, turning ambition into measurable action. You own environmental performance, from CO2 to water and waste, working with plant and regional teams to streamline processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will shape the sustainability program at scale and connect local delivery with regional influence, delivering real environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment of the REO roadmap across all sites
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies
• Track and analyse performance indicators (CO2, water, energy, waste)
• Develop and coordinate sustainability action plans
• Lead the community of plant REO managers
• Harmonise processes and governance at regional level
• Conduct internal audits and manage relationships with authorities
• Promote best practices and a culture of continuous improvement
• Support initiatives to reduce environmental impact
• Collaborate with global, regional and local teams on key projects

Key requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in industry, engineering or R&D
• Strong understanding of industrial environments and associated KPIs
• Proven project management experience
• Knowledge of environmental management systems (ISO 14001 / 50001)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Analytical, problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset
