Overview
In this role you will lead the HDL architecture for next-gen high voltage power supply platforms, applying strong FPGA design expertise. You’ll collaborate with Systems Engineering and PM to break down requirements and drive digital design across the full development lifecycle. You will shape reusable HDL architectures, develop test benches, and ensure designs are robust for manufacturing and field use. This is a hands-on role that blends research, design, validation, and cross-functional teamwork to advance power electronics solutions at scale. You will work in a dynamic team focused on delivering reliable, high-performance hardware for mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead FPGA/HDL development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing)
- Own advanced digital architecture and design for target applications
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering and PM to decompose system requirements
- Conduct design reviews and ensure interfaces between hardware and software meet performance needs
- Support hardware production processes and safety/QA/customer considerations
Key requirements
- FPGA/HDL design experience (VHDL preferred, Verilog acceptable)
- Strong digital design and FPGA logic design skills
- Experience with simulation tools in product development
- Knowledge of high-speed digital electronics, FPGAs, and embedded processors
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with agile, CI/CD, and Git source control
