Overview
In this role you will plan, run, and analyse user research across the RBO digital products to understand user motivations and behaviours. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to inspire design thinking and customer empathy in an agile, fast‑paced environment. Your findings will inform design, development, accessibility, and continuous improvement of digital services within a busy theatre context. You will advocate for user research and deliver high‑quality, timely insights that drive real improvements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, run and analyse user research across the portfolio of digital products
- Choose appropriate research tools and methods for different questions
- Collaborate with teams across the business to inspire design thinking
- Support accessibility and continuous improvement of digital services
- Advocate for user research to stakeholders in an agile environment
- Deliver accurate, high‑quality work to deadlines and required standards
- Challenge current practices when data supports change
Key requirements
- Understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods and their appropriate application
- Experience facilitating and running research in digital, marketing, academic, or similar contexts
- Experience analysing outcomes and data to produce actionable findings
- Strong track record delivering high‑quality work to deadlines
- Experience challenging practices based on user research data
- Relevant qualification or equivalent in HCI/Usability/Cognitive Psychology/Analytics or related field, or substantial related experience
