Refrigeration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial chillers within the hire fleet
• Install, commission, and decommission temporary cooling equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults on chillers and related equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure rapid return to operation
• Prepare and test equipment before deployment
• Complete service reports and ensure compliance with F-Gas and health & safety requirements

Key requirements

• Experience as a Chiller, Refrigeration, or Process Cooling Engineer
• Strong knowledge of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
• Experience in service, maintenance, commissioning, and fault finding
• Strong refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical diagnostic skills
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently across customer sites
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
