Head of Technical – Residential – Surrey

Overview

In this role you will lead the technical delivery for a solid residential developer based in Surrey, driving the design process from concept to completion. You will manage and grow a Technical Team to meet high quality standards across large-scale residential and mixed-use projects. You will steer coordination and problem-solving across engineering/architecture interfaces, focusing on high-rise reinforced concrete schemes. This is a growth opportunity to shape technical leadership and delivery in a reputable housing developer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple large-scale residential projects from concept to completion
• Lead and develop a technical/design team across roles and levels
• Coordinate and drive the design process to meet high quality standards
• Manage project delivery for high-rise reinforced concrete schemes
• Ensure effective problem solving, communication, and analytical decision-making
• Maintain project momentum and stability on CV with proven performance

Key requirements

• Degree qualified and Chartered
• Background in Engineering or Architecture
• 5+ years’ experience running projects from concept to completion
• Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills
• Experience with high-rise reinforced concrete schemes
