Business Analysts

Overview

In this contract role, you will support a key mobilisation programme within a technology-focused organisation. You will own and trace requirements from capture through to live support, working with clients, suppliers, and technical teams. The role blends business analysis, process mapping, and data governance to ensure delivery aligns with contractual and stakeholder needs. You will engage across disciplines to clarify requirements, manage artefacts, and enable a smooth handover to BAU teams, contributing to successful programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Capture, code, and categorise contractual requirements using MoSCoW in a requirements catalogue.
• Lead client stakeholder engagements to resolve requirement clarifications and define clear deliverables.
• Create detailed process flow diagrams to support transactional service delivery.
• Define and manage a data dictionary aligned with process flows and requirements.
• Document functional requirements with full lifecycle traceability to the catalogue.
• Maintain traceability during development and validate outputs with developers.
• Ensure traceability during testing and validate coverage with the test team.
• Oversee handover of requirements to BAU teams and ensure artefacts are transitioned to live support.
• Contribute to Quality Readiness Gateways where requirements and outputs are critical.

Key requirements

• Experience on large-scale, multi-organisation mobilisation programmes.
• Proven ability to develop complex contractual requirements into a traceable catalogue across design, development and test.
• Experience running client workshops and resolving ambiguities or gaps.
• Experience delivering in both client-side and supplier-side public sector environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
