Sr. Manager, Broadcast Engineering

Overview

As Senior Manager of Broadcast Engineering, you lead the London-based Broadcast Engineering team to deliver high-quality, seamless fitness content for Peloton’s global audience. You’ll shape and optimize broadcast studios, equipment, and workflows while aligning with cross-functional partners to enhance member experience. You will stay ahead of industry trends, drive reliable 24/7 operations, and mentor a growing team to innovate in live and on-demand delivery. This role offers impact at scale in a mission-driven, tech-forward environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Broadcast Engineering team to design, implement, and maintain an efficient broadcast studio facility for optimal member experience
• Collaborate with global broadcast engineering leads to ensure parity and connectivity across facilities
• Oversee procurement, installation, and maintenance of broadcast equipment for live and on-demand classes
• Partner with Content Production Operations, IT, and Product to streamline content workflows and improve broadcast transmission
• Keep current with trends and technologies to propose cutting-edge broadcast solutions
• Directly address technical incidents to minimize downtime and service disruption
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of learning, growth, and innovation

Key requirements

• Degree in Broadcast Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable experience
• Minimum 8 years in broadcast engineering with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Deep understanding of broadcast systems, camera tech, vision mixers, audio consoles, control room operations, shared storage, data centers, and post production systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues in fast-paced environments
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Availability to work outside normal hours to support 7-day broadcast operations
