Overview

As Logistics Supervisor at TGRC, you will oversee project logistics for solar and renewable energy deployments across the UK. You will coordinate material handling, storage, and transportation to keep on-site construction moving smoothly. The role involves close collaboration with construction and procurement teams to plan deliveries while maintaining safety standards. You’ll optimize inventory, monitor shipments, and resolve delays to support timely project completion. This role offers impact through efficient logistics and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project logistics including material handling, storage and transport
• Coordinate on-site procurement to ensure timely material availability
• Collaborate with construction and procurement to plan deliveries
• Monitor inventory levels and track shipments
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance in logistics
• Identify and resolve potential delays or issues proactively
• Manage relationships with transport providers, suppliers, and subcontractors

Key requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials management
• Experience in solar, wind, or large-scale construction projects preferred
• Strong organisational and planning skills with multitasking ability
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for construction sites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems
• Ability to travel between project sites as required
