Overview
In this role you will manage a varied caseload in our Banking team, advising on corporate lending, real estate finance and renewables finance transactions from UK offices. You will act for lenders and borrowers, coordinating with cross-functional experts to deliver practical, commercially-focused solutions. You’ll handle both smaller and larger transactions, develop client relationships and contribute to business development. The position offers bespoke training and a clear path to becoming a sector specialist while supporting a fast-growing, partner-led firm.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of banking transactions for diverse clients
- Support larger transactions with project and time management to optimize resources
- Develop understanding of client businesses and secure new work within existing relationships
- Participate in business development and strengthen client relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues across the UK Banking team and other specialisms to deliver excellent client service
- Contribute to a wider team effort, including cross-office coordination and knowledge sharing
- Manage own caseloads with varied, broad experience
- Provide commercially pragmatic advice aligned with client needs
Key requirements
- Experience in a banking/finance team (NQ-3PQE)
- Legal training background (paralegal, training contract seat or post-qualification)
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
- Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development
- Ability to manage workloads and deadlines independently
