Oracle Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administration, configuration and implementation of Oracle databases in a high-availability environment
• Planning and deployment of new databases
• Automation of existing processes
• Carrying out database migrations, patches and upgrades
• Providing advice and support for projects
• Ensuring smooth operation of storage and archiving processes

Key requirements

• Degree in IT or equivalent qualification
• Extensive experience with Oracle RAC
• Several years of database administration experience with relational systems
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Ansible and scripting (Shell) is advantageous
• Experience with Linux is desirable
• Very good written and spoken English
