Senior Learning & Development Manager

Overview

In this role you will shape the learning strategy for a growing professional services business, partnering with senior leaders to close capability gaps and support high-performing teams. You will design and deliver leadership and professional development programmes, and drive a culture of continuous development through innovative learning solutions and effective use of learning platforms. You will work across HR and business leaders to align initiatives with objectives, measure impact, and foster career growth. This is a strategic yet hands-on role that offers exposure to senior leadership and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s learning and development strategy
• Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and priorities
• Design and run leadership and management development programmes
• Create innovative learning solutions to support growth and career progression
• Manage learning platforms, frameworks, and development pathways
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders on talent, succession, and organisational development
• Evaluate learning impact and use data to drive future activity
• Promote a culture of continuous learning across the organisation

Key requirements

• Experience leading learning, talent, or organisational development initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience designing and delivering leadership and professional development programmes
• Commercial mindset with ability to align learning with business objectives
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience with learning technologies, digital learning solutions, or LMS
• CIPD qualification or relevant certifications would be advantageous
