Overview
In this role you will service and repair lifts across South London, enhancing reliability and safety. You will work with the Service Department to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and upgrade obsolete equipment, ensuring lifts are returned to service promptly and safely. You’ll operate within strict health and safety guidelines while delivering high-quality workmanship and clear customer updates. This position offers hands-on repair work, site surveys, and continuous improvement across a respected UK lift company.

Responsibilities
- Complete repairs within agreed timescales
- Return lifts to operation where possible
- Support the Service Team with fault finding and repairs
- Refer to drawings, manuals and instructions to perform tasks
- Execute product corrective actions as required
- Conduct site surveys to identify repair needs and inform quotations
- Complete service records and PDA reports accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
- Follow Company Health & Safety policies and ensure safe working practices
- Use handheld devices to record work activities
- Support Repair Apprentices with training and NVQ qualifications
- Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance across all work activities
Key requirements
- Proven lift servicing/maintenance/repairs experience (min 5 years)
- NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift maintenance/repairs
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
