Commercial Finance Analyst

Overview

In this role you will partner with Commercial Business Partners and senior leaders to deliver financial insights that shape planning and performance. You will support forecasting, budgeting, and KPI reporting, driving cost optimisation and capital decision-making across the business. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, shaping regional and global initiatives through data-driven analysis. This is a high-impact role for an ambitious analyst who wants broad commercial exposure and meaningful influence on company performance.

Responsibilities

• Produce month-end and quarter-end reporting for management and board audiences
• Analyse performance drivers and provide actionable commentary to leaders
• Support forecasting and budgeting to plan for growth
• Act as finance partner for head office functions including SG&A and cost reporting
• Coordinate headcount forecasting across the business
• Support capital investment planning, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet analysis
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reporting tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely forecasts and submissions
• Support implementation and use of financial systems and reporting platforms (SAP BPC, Power BI, Tableau, Analysis for Office)
• Deliver ad hoc analysis for regional and global initiatives

Key requirements

• Fully qualified or finalist ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to explain performance drivers
• Excellent analytical skills translating data into insights
• Advanced Excel and BI/reporting tool experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
• Proactive and continuous improvement mindset
• Experience with SAP BPC, Power BI, Tableau or similar systems (advantageous)
