Mobile Training Engineer (South West)

Overview

In this role you will deliver practical, high-quality training on heat pumps, renewable energy systems and combustion products to customers and employees. You’ll support the shift to low-carbon heating and the company’s electrification strategy by equipping learners with the skills to succeed in a rapidly evolving market. The position is field-based with autonomy, requiring travel across the UK and Ireland to locations, partner centres and Worcester Bosch sites. You will build strong relationships, develop engaging course content, and contribute to market-leading training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on combustion products using mobile van, partner centres, and Worcester Bosch sites
• Train customers on heat pumps to grow renewable technology adoption
• Provide training on gas, oil, and renewable products at various locations including customer sites and training centres
• Develop and maintain relationships with colleges and partner centres
• Assist sales with product launches, exhibitions, and factory tours
• Prepare and update course content and materials
• Maintain and develop the Mobile Training Van
• Create new and updated courses for products and regulations
• Participate in train-the-trainer projects for new products/services

Key requirements

• Previous training experience preferred
• ACS CCN1 & CEN1 qualification
• Knowledge of low-temperature systems, installations and commissioning procedures
• NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating or equivalent experience
• Full driving licence
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong technical knowledge with a trade background
• Computer literacy (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) advantageous
• Ability to communicate with audiences at all levels
• Knowledge of health, safety and environment practices
• Understanding of renewable technologies
• Confidence in delivering high-quality training
• Comfort engaging learners with diverse skill levels
